Maintaining relationships and connections with brand ambassadors isn’t always easy. I specialize in connecting with and maintaining relationships with brand ambassadors and continuously finding new ways for the brand and the ambassador to work together in a mutually beneficial engagement or activation.
USDA Midwest Farm to School Grant Incubator in Chicago, IL
In partnership with the Illinois Public Health Institute (IPHI), the USDA, and Public Health Administrators, Farmers, and School Administrators from Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin. I worked the event logistics of the first in-person incubator session for the Farm to School grant since COVID-19. The purpose of the meeting was to bring grant partners together to collaborate on how to use the USDA funds and get to know each team’s needs and strengths. Skills used and learned through this experience are listed below.
Event Logistics and Management
With over 50 participants attending, I helped manage day-of logistics and event coordination and booked the food and refreshments for the day. During the event, I helped in facilitating meaningful conversations to help provoke new ideas and ways to bring the Farm to School lunch program alive in a meaningful way that would positively impact both the schools and the farms.
